The Proxes RR uses an enhanced-grip tread compound, a semi-slick tread pattern, two 4/32-inch circumferential grooves, and wear inspection holes in the slick regions. It is ready to race without shaving, and Toyo recommends heat cycling before competition to help improve wear and performance consistency.
Reinforced sidewalls and symmetric construction support cornering stability, while the sidewall marking area helps racers manage tire positions. Available fitments include enthusiast sizes such as 205/50-15, 235/40-17, and 295/30-18. For track use, Toyo’s guidance also notes caution in wet conditions, especially standing water, and near-freezing temperatures.
